Operating the UK's first, and now the last street tram system, with vehicles most of which are over seventy years old, requires specialised skills which are almost unknown in today’s modern bus fleet operation.

This DVD goes behind the scenes in the Fitting or Heavy Machine Workshop where we see trucks under overhaul; how tyres are replaced and re-profiled and a new underframe is constructed.

Finally we see the Tram Body lift in operation and an old underframe removed and replaced
