THE TRAMWAYS OF LISBOA

Lisbon without its little yellow trams seems unthinkable but they have survived throughout the odds.

In the 80s slowly routes were closed but as no one could imagine buses climbing through the Graca Circle area they remained defiant along with the track to the Main Depot and Workshops.

In the 90s came a complete change of heart as modern cars were purchased for the long Route 15 and 45 standard cars were rebuilt with modern equipment for the other four routes.

In this DVD we traverse in detail the remaining five routes; have an extensive look at the Tram Museum and, for added variety, ride each of the Elevadors.
