Mention Riga or Latvia and you usually get a blank look, but mention the Eurovision Song Contest and a knowing look appears.

Since the fall of the Iron Curtain the Russian satellite countries have developed enormously with most now being members of the European Union.

Riga, the capital of Latvia, has a superb transport system with a very large trolleybus; tram and bus integrated network.

In this DVD we take a close look at all of the eight tram routes operated with Tatra twin coupled cars which are unique in still using trolley poles as their current collection.
